Bishop McVinney School to hold golf tournament to benefit Catholic education

PROVIDENCE — Bishop McVinney School will hold its sixth annual golf tournament, Tee-Off for Urban Catholic Education, on Wednesday, September 20, at the Exeter Country Club.

The event begins at noon with a luncheon in the clubhouse where golfers can “Meet the Students,” followed by a round of golf.

This special fundraising event supports students residing in South Providence who attend Bishop McVinney School.

To register for the Tee-Off, send a check made payable to Bishop McVinney School, c/o Louis Hebert, Principal, 155 Gordon Avenue, Providence, R.I., 02905. Please include the names of the golfers in your foursome. Contributions to the golf tournament can also be sent in care of the school.

Bishop McVinney School is a diocesan Catholic, co-educational school serving students in South Providence from pre-school through grade eight.
