Donald E. Green Sr.

WARWICK — Donald E. Green Sr., 77, the father of Father David E. Green, pastor of St. Kevin Church, Warwick, died June 19 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of Eleanor T. (Demara) Green and the late Helen E. (Laclair) Green. He was employed as a cartographer for the U.S. Defense Mapping Agency.

Born in Fairhaven, Mass., he was the son of the late J. Joseph and Mary (Marshall) Green. He lived in East Providence before moving to Warwick in 1987, and served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

In addition to Father Green, he is survived by three other sons, Donald E, Green Jr., Douglas E. Green and his wife Alice, and Daniel E. Green; two daughters, Maureen E. Burns and Kimberly A. Green; and two stepchildren, David M. LePage Sr. and Janet A. LePage. He was the brother of Elizabeth King and the late John J. Green.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 23 at St. Kevin Church. Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
