The Saint Raphael Academy football team was recently awarded the Richard (Dick) Reynolds Sportsmanship Award. The award, named in honor of the longtime Providence Journal reporter, is given to a Rhode Island high school football team voted on by the Rhode Island Football officials. These officials rate each team, coaching staff and fans on their sportsmanship at each game and award points accordingly. At the end of the season, scores are tallied and the team with the highest number of points receives the award.
