Family-friendly Eucharistic Adoration
WARREN — Saint Alexander Church, 221 Main St., will host a family-friendly period of Eucharistic Adoration on Tuesdays in Lent from 6-7 p.m., helping children to learn about and grow in reverence for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Stations of the Cross being held on Fridays at St. Ann’s Church
PROVIDENCE — Stations of the Cross will take place at St. Ann’s Church, 280 Hawkins St., on Fridays during Lent, from 6:30 – 7 p.m. Stations are held in the upper church, which is handicap accessible, please use the side elevator door on Russo Street.
Fish and Chips dinners being offered at Church of the Holy Ghost
TIVERTON — On Fridays in Lent, the Church of the Holy Ghost, 316 Judson St., is hosting Fish and Chip dinners in Holy Family Hall, from noon–7 p.m. The menu will feature baked or fried fish with veggies, mashed potatoes, French fries, bread and butter, drinks and desserts. Knights to serve chowder and clam cakes on Lenten Fridays
PAWTUCKET — St. John Paul II Council #12613 and Delaney/St. Teresa Council #57 will be serving chowder and clam cakes on Fridays during Lent from 5-7 p.m., except for Good Friday, and will be held at St. John Paul II Parish, 745 Central Ave. Cups of red or white chowder, half-dozen or dozen clam cakes will be available for dine-in or curbside pick-up. Providence College lecture: ‘We’ve Got You Covered: Rebooting American Health Care’
PROVIDENCE — Amy Finkelstein, Ph.D., will be the speaker for this year’s 2024 Rodney K. Delasanta Lecture on Thursday, March 21, 4:30 p.m. in ’64 Hall in the Slavin Center on the Providence College campus. The title of Dr. Finklestein’s talk will be “We’ve Got You Covered: Rebooting American Health Care.” Dr. Finklestein is the John & Jennie MacDonald Professor of Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is the co-founder and co-Scientific Director of J-PAL North America, a research center at MIT that encourages and facilitates randomized evaluations of important domestic policy issues. She is also the founding Editor of American Economic Review. The lecture, sponsored by the Providence College Honors Program, is free and open to the public.

St. Joseph to hold Tenebrae service
NORTH SCITUATE — “The Fisherman,” a powerful Tenebrae service through the eyes of St. Peter of Jesus’ ministry and Passion featuring readings and sacred music, will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 7:30 p.m., in St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike. Good Friday Walk planned through streets of Narragansett
NARRAGANSETT — St. Thomas More Parish invites all parishioners and friends as the cross is carried though the streets of Narragansett as a re-enactment of Jesus’ final journey to Calvary, noon on Good Friday, March 29 at St. Thomas More Church on 53 Rockland St. The walk will be outside via Ocean Road, along the sea wall and under the Narragansett Towers. 39th annual Good Friday Walk
PAWTUCKET — The 39th Good Friday Walk will take place on March 29, 9 a.m., beginning with a blessing at St. John the Baptist Church Hall, 69 Quincy Ave., and end back at the church hall to enjoy a delicious lunch of grilled cheese, chowder and water. Proceeds from this annual four-mile walk through Pawtucket and Central Falls will support Project Hope/Proyecto Esperanza, Hospitality House Soup Kitchen, and Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, aiding the elderly and those with low income or working poor with food, rent, utilities, and prescriptions. Divine Mercy at St. Martha Church

PORTSMOUTH — St. Barnabas Church will host a Divine Mercy Holy Hour on Sunday, April 7. The Holy Hour will begin at 2 p.m. in the main church and will be led by Deacons John Silvia and Paul St. Laurent.
