The St. Mary Academy - BayView community united to collect food and money for those in need. During the month of November, an academy-wide collection delivered 32 baskets of Thanksgiving meals to area families. In addition to filling baskets, $100 dollars was raised and turned into gift cards that the families can use to purchase a turkey for their Thanksgiving dinner.

St. Cecilia School community collected 2,590 canned goods for St. John Paul II Food Pantry (St. Vincent De Paul), as well as collected items for 20 food baskets.

The Friends of Mercy from Mercymount Country Day School packed 270 bags of Thanksgiving Food at the Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry last week.

Eighth graders from Good Shepherd Catholic Regional School donated food and gift certificates to create three dinners for families in the Woonsocket area. This was in addition to the school collecting food items for St. Joseph’s food pantry.
