Students respond to hurricane relief with generosity

Saint Philip School’s National Junior Honor Society recently sponsored a dress down day to raise money to help individuals and families impacted by the recent catastrophic storm that ravaged the Carolinas.

The National Junior Honor Society sponsored another dress down day Friday, Oct. 19 to raise money to help individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Michael. The funds were donated once again to Catholic Charities USA. Saint Philip School students and staff collected more than $800 for the victims of Hurricane Florence and nearly $900 for victims of Hurricane Michael, bringing to approximately $1,700 the total of funds donated from both dress down days.
